How well I am doing my job and how better it may be ?

  1. Keep the track of everything you going to do / you have done / you didn’t do but intended to. In the end you’ll see - are you doing well, progressive enough or in most cases just passively passing by.
  2. Work is really a tough stuff to do being in no mood. Try to have fun for a short period of time to be in a good shape - but don’t go too far.
  3. Music. Yeah, it’s good. But it does make worse QA of your work. So try make it your background and not singing meanwhile, shortly - don’t pay attention ifyou really cannot work without listening punk rock.
  4. Eat. Don’t starve while trying to make something work, more you starve - less is being committed to your working process. Don’t eat too much although, you can get sleepy.
  5. Have a break ! Essential rule. Sitting 8 hours in a row angry and mad but still trying-to-do is a quality and mind destructive stuff to do. Waste of time. Don’t even try to make yourself think that you’re still working - no matter how well. Your boss is not satisfied with the results - your nerves walk the line. If project still fails having relaxing breaks - at least you’re not workaholicous-psychopate.
  6. Chat ? Forums ? News blogs ? `online bookmarks`? They’re certainly good and educative (?), yet time-consuming. Reading your mail - 2 minutes, reading news - 5 to 10 minutes, chatting the same time * 8 times-a-day. Plus it certainly will take some time to recall what the hell were you stuck on while someone `sended you a nudge` (all about concentration)
  7. Being creative is not a synonim of `innovation` (and that should be a huge one …) - it can be anything - anything - that any human being of your surrounding haven’t been using/mentioning/creating/serving before you. Maybe it’s your workplace (ideal) or even your hometown. While expressing idea - you’re not always pursuing your boss being keen on you - screw this - thus improving yourself, thus motivating yourself (`motivation` not-equals passive waiting of your boss to promote you). I’m not saying - be creative - I’m saying - try to be creative and In 1 of 10 cases you’ll come up with something new.
